BEHAVIORAL CHANGE FOCUS
The transtheoretical model illustrates the stages of behavioral change that MECO aims to bring clients through. The behavioral change model consists of up to 7 stages of change Pre-Contemplation (Denial), Contemplation (Procrastination), Preparation (Research) , Action (Starting), Maintenance (Consistency), and Termination (Achievement of New Habit). MECO focuses primarily on Preparation, Action, Maintenance; emphasizing simplifying the steps of Preparation and Action in order to promote a client's self-sufficiency, consistency, and disciplined healthy behavior. The goal is not just results. We are pursuing sustainable results.
